The besan is indian gram flour it is also known as garbanzo bean flour, chickpea flour, split gram flour. Besan made from ground chickpeas, a legume otherwise known as chana dal. Besan (indian gram flour) contains a high proportion of carbohydrates but no gluten, despite this, in comparison to other flours it has a relatively higher proportion of protein and hygienically processed with long shelf life and available in different size of packing.
