
bioquat- 50 is a modified quaternary ammonium compound and is an extremely effective biocide for the control of bacterial growth in aqueous systems. It has been found to be particularly effective against nitrifying bacteria, iron bacteria and anaerobic sulfite reducing bacteria etc. Bio-treat -qt50 distorts the permeability of the cell wail to reduce normal flow of nutrients into the bacterial cell and thereby causing its death.
