Contact SupplierDental care is as important for dogs and cats as it is for people. Just like us, our pets can suffer from plaque, tartar, bad breath, gum disease and periodontal disease. Developing a good oral hygiene routine from the very beginning is an important step in protecting your pet from dental disease later in life. Starting a tooth brushing routine early will make it easier for your pet to get used to being handled in this way, preparing for a lifetime of good dental and oral health. Use the special Beaphar Toothbrush for effective cleaning of your pet’s teeth, let your pet familiarise itself with the paste. Apply a small amount onto your finger, and let your pet lick it off. Most pets will enjoy the palatable taste. Wet the brush with a little warm water and apply a little bit of Toothpaste to the bristles and let the pet taste it again. Gently raise the upper lip to brush a few teeth. Reassure your pet while doing this in a gentle tone of voice. Make sure you always have a bowl of fresh drinking water available after brushing
