ABOUT BANJARA TECHNIQUE:
Banjara Embroidery or Gypsy work is ancient Indian embroidery done in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and some parts of Andhra Pradesh. These Gypsies have a great artistic talent and they use embellishments like old coins, buttons, round mirrors to enrich the embroidery. Around the mirrors, they create different motifs by embroidery with very colorful bright traditional stitches.
