Cermic / Mica band heaters design is the result of many year of research, development and testing for a reliable mica insulated Cermic band heater that can perform to higher operating temperature(in application up to 500ºc) essential to process high temperature resins, providing long efficient service necessary for today’s high productivity of plastic extrudes, injections & blow molding machines.

Daspass specially designed and engineered models to meet the ever increasing demand for energy conservation and to improve operations efficiency, capable of generating higher temperatures essential to process today’s high temperature resins. Energy Conservationis achieved by using thick Cermic  fiber insulating blanket on surface increasing the overall outer diameter by 2″ (minimum length required is 4″) power consumption up to 30% because of low thermal conductivity of the ceramic fib, insulation, the external surface temperature of the insulation plus band heaters are approximately 80º C while running the inside surface temperature at 300ºC.
