Contact SupplierA process for preparing bamboo-salt, characterized in that the bay salt is packed into a tube of non-dried large bamboo grown for 3 to 5 years in the weight ratio of about 1 :2 to 1 :5 (bamboo:salt), the opened end of the bamboo tube is sealed with yellow earth, the sealed bamboo tubes are loaded in 3 to 15 layers in the furnace and then subjected to the two-step calcination procedure, wherein the first step is carried out by heating at about 150 to 550°C for about 1 to 5 hours and the second step is carried out by heating at about 600 to 800°C for about 2 to 10 hours, to obtain the calcined salt, which is ground, packed into the fresh bamboo tube and then repeatedly calcined more seven times in the same manner as above, and finally the salt which is calcined eight times is melted by heating at about 1000 to 1800°C at the ninth calcining procedure.
