Bacteriological Incubator

Bacteriological Incubator is used to grow and maintain microbiological cultures or cell cultures. It maintains optimal temperature, humidity and other conditions such as the carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen content of the atmosphere inside. These are essential for a lot of experimental work in cell biology, microbiology and molecular biology and are used to culture both bacterial as well as eukaryotic cells.

FEATURES: 

• Inner chamber made up of S.S. Sheet (SS-304 grade)
• Sturdy double walled construction
• Outer chamber made of M.S. Sheet duly powder coated
• The gap between inner and outer chamber is filled with high-grade glass wool to avoid thermal losses
• Inner chamber is provided with ribs for adjusting perforated shelves to convenient height.
• Beaded heating elements are placed in ribs, at bottom and sides
• Air ventilators are also provided on the sides of unit
• Synthetic rubber gasket made of neoprene rubber is fitted to all units instead of asbestos
• Door is fitted with glass viewing window to facilitate inspection of sample without disturbing the test temperature
• To work on 220 / 230 volts A.C. supply
• Thermostatically Controlled- Temperature is controlled by hydraulic type capillary thermostat to control temperature from ambient to 70oC +/-1oC. An L-shaped prismatic thermometer is fitted to the unit for reading the chamber temperature
• Digitally Controlled : Temperature is controlled through a microprocessor based PID/ digital temperature indicator cum-controller from ambient to 70oC with an accuracy of +/-1oC
•  All digitally controlled incubators are fitted with air circulation fan as a standard accessory.
