Aztreonam Injection

Aztreonam Injection is available in the purest form. Being an antibiotic, the Aztreonam Injection is very effective in treating various infections including pneumonia and gynecological, urinary tract, skin, bone, joint, stomach, and blood infections. We strictly recommend prescribed dosage of Aztreonam Injection. Further, it is either injected into a large muscle or added to an intravenous fluid that drips through a needle in vein.

Indications :

• Intra-abdominal infections.
• Urinary Tract Infections.
• Septicemia.
• Lower Respiratory Tract Infections
• Skin and soft tissue Infections.
• Bone and joint Infections.

Dosage :

• Adult dose : 500 mg to 2g every 8 or 12 hrs.
• Maximum Adult dose : 8g/day.
• Paediatric dose : 30–90 mg/kg every 6 – 8 hrs.
• Maximum Paediatric dose : 120 mg/ kg/day.
• Renally Impaired Patients : After an initial loading dose of 1 to 2 grams, the dose should be halved in patients with estimated creatinine clearance between 10 and 30 mL/mi
