The cage assemblies have particularly small axial section height, high load carrying capacity and high rigidity. They can support axial force from one direction and act as non-locating bearings in a radial direction. Axial cage assemblies are combined with housing or shaft locating washers or are integrated directly in the adjacent construction. If they are used without axial bearing washers, the raceway must be produced as a rolling bearing raceway.
