Nowadays, products can be produced by modern technology, which uses computer software, hardware in industries. it is needed to use cnc lathe machine to get more accurate dimensions and irregular shape. it is required to convert the conventional lathe machines into semi-automatic control lathe machine by retrofitting. developing and changing into semi-automatic control lathe machine, there are three required portions; mechanical, electronics and hydraulic. in the present work i have converted convention lathe in to automatic lathe by considering cost factor as limitation of work. also considering the institute requirement, components selection by cost and required to fulfillment of machine by optimum selection process. my goal is different than industrial manufactured retrofitted lathe machine;
