    Ami Tech’s Automatic Meter Reader ARG-45 is the latest of its AMR series based on GSMGPRS communication technology and has built-in intelligence. The ARG-45 is a compact, rugged unit, mainly designed to read data from remote energy meters installed at sites of LTHT consumers, feeders, boundary points, Solar, Wind farms, etc.ARG-45 can be supplied as an intelligent or non-intelligent transparent modem for automatic meter reading applications. The device can automatically detect most of the Indian energy meters and reads the data at configurable time intervals and schedules. Ami Tech’s AMR supports data reading from various legacy meters and DLMS meters automatically and will push the data to a remote Meter Data Acquisition System. The AMR can be used for push and pull type of data transfer methods. ARG-45 is indigenously designed and developed by Ami Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd., a leading Indian AMR manufacturer. This AMR supports meters with protocols like PACT, MODBUS, IEC, ANSI, DLMSCOSEM, etc.
