Depending on usage, an Auto Gauging System can be described as "a system for measuring a physical quantity", for example "to define thickness, pressure of flow, diameter of materials, gap in space."

Measures collar width and runout of outer Diameter with respect to inner diameter. After manually loading the component all required parameters are measured automatically, display of the result on computer, manually unloading of the component after measurement is complete.
