Motorized agitator blade slowly turns through the material so as to prevent any bridging of the material.
Action of the agitator blade improves uniformity of bulk density and consistency. Auger or screw rotates and feeds the material through bottom tube.
Rotational movement of the auger may be controlled by sophisticated servo drive or simply dual speed motor & clutch/brake system.
Material that is fed by the auger is collected in container placed on the load cell. Load cell is used as weight sensing transducer.
This passive transducer gives tiny milli volt output proportional to the load acting upon it.
This output voltage is amplified by precision instrumentation amplifier and amplified output is filtered to reduce effect of noise and external unwanted vibrations.
The filtered output is digitized with ADC and fed to micro controller.
Micro controller uses DSP algorithm for further filtering of the data.
