Athromy have an active component as Azithromycin which is macrolide-type antibiotic medication used for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. This includes middle ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveler's diarrhea and certain other intestinal infections. Along with other medications, it may also be used for malaria. It can be also used with other antibiotics to treat certain infections caused by sexually transmitted organisms like Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. During the pandemic, Azithromycin found very effective to treat the flu-like symptoms of Covid 19 in some patients.
