An ASRS consists of a variety of computer-controlled systems for
automatically placing and retrieval loads from defined storage locations.Another ASRS technology is known as Radio Shuttle technology, where the horizontal movement is made by independent shuttles each operating on one level of the rack, while a stacker crane lifts & shifts the pallet shuttle & pallets to a P&D station.
