    APPLICATIONS / USES : Made out of synthetic & inorganic fibers Blended with PTFE densely lubricated with high inert lubricant and with high grade graphite in core and on surface. It's recommended for use in rotary & reciprocating equipment, for saturated and super heated steam, hot water, air, gases oils steam expansion, glands, under medium pressure conditions ( For high Pressure and temperature other Sigma Compression Packings are available) recommended upto 300°C (Normal Operation) ( A unique replacement to self lubricated graphite Asbestos gland Packing).

     

    In engineering industry Gland packings play very important role. 
    For manufcaturing gland packings asbestos is used with different combinations like graphite, Brass Metal, White Metal,  Stainless Steel wire etc.
    Since Asbestos dust & microscopic asbestos fibers  are dangerous to human health, there is a need to replace these  products by new products.
      
    Asbestos Replacement Products are manufactured by using synthetic fibers.
    Synthetic fibers are man-made rather than natural fibers. Examples of synthetic fabrics include polyester, acrylic, nylon,  rayon, acetate, spandex, latex, Orlon and Kevlar.
    There are different types of Asbestos Replacement Products  manufactured as per the need & to suit exact requirement.
    Few are the examples given below
    White Dry Packing 
    This packing is made out of synthetic fibers plaited on cover to achieve high density for general steam glands insulation,  boiler lagging & sealing of oven and auto clave doors, caulking thermal insulation, furnace joints etc. (For high  temperature other sigma products are available). Recommended upto 360°C (Normal operation) (A unique replacement to  white asbestos dry rope).
    Self lubricated and Graphite Packing
    This packing is made out of synthetic & inorganic fibers Blended with PTFE densely lubricated with high inert lubricant  and with high grade graphite in core and on surface. It's recommended for use in rotary & reciprocating equipment, for  saturated and super heated steam,hot water, air, gases oils steam expansion, glands, under medium pressure conditions (  For high Pressure and temperature other Sigma Compression Packings are available) recommended upto 300°C (Normal  Operation) ( A unique replacement to self lubricated graphite Asbestos gland Packing).
    Synthetic & Inorganic Fibers Blended with PTFE 
    This packing is made out of synthetic & inorganic fibers Blended with PTFE densely lubricated with high inert lubricant  and with high grade graphite in core,  with brass Wire/ copper wire reinforced to increase the strength of packing.  Recommended upto temperature 500 degree c. It's recommended for use in rotary & reciprocating equipment, for  saturated and super heated steam,hot water, air, gases oils steam expansion, glands, under medium pressure conditions (  For high Pressure and temperature other Sigma Compression Packings are available) recommended upto 300°C (Normal  Operation) (Replacement to Metallic Asbestos Gland Packing).

    Non Asbestos sealing packing with Stainles Steel wire, Fibre filled Lagging Rope, Gland Packing for Caustics, White Square PTFE Braided Gland Packing, Combination Packing  PTFE with Polyamide Fibre Gland Packing, Yellow Aramid Braided Gland Packing for Superheated Steam & Solvents, PTFE In Zebra Braided Packing, PTFE Impregnated PTFE Packing, Self Lubricant PTFE Fibre Gland Packing, High Performance Packing is made from PTFE & Graphite Fibre Gland Packing, Self lubricating compression gland packing made out of combination of PTFE and graphite.
