Artemether is an ant parasitic medication. It functions by produced harmful chemical such as free radical within the malarial parasite, resulting in killing them. |
In that process, the peroxide group in Artemether linked to heme and produced toxic free-radicals. |
Lumefantrine medicines work by increasing the levels of heme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. Resulting it kills the parasite and block the infection from spreading to other area. |

Precautions & How to Use |
Even if patient feel good after taking medication there is need of completion of full course of treatment. |
With some foods or drinks that enriched with the fat the Artemether should be taken. |

During first 3 months of pregnancy this medication should not be taken. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. |
It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. If it causes difficulty in concentration, please do not drive. |
