Kyoto Electronics Manufacturing (KEM) Co., Ltd.manufacture a variety of portable instruments such as refractometers, density meters, and Brix meters. The Brix meter, BX1, is an automatic, digital system with an LCD display. This instrument is equipped with temperature compensation.

BX-1 feature highlights

• Measuring range of 0 – 85 % Brix and resolution of 0.1 % Brix.

• Brix of samples ranging between 10 °C and 75 °C can be measured.

• Auto-inactivity detection, which increases the life time of batteries.

• IP65 casing to protect the instrument from splashes and dust.
