ESPON – HF anti-scale compound is found effective in all types of heat treatment operations like full annealing, normalizing, hardening and tempering. Brushing, dipping or spraying method may be used for coating. Sufficient time is to be provided for drying of ESPON – HF anti scale compound before charging coated material into furnace. Benefits of using ESPON – HF anti scale compound : preventing of scaling and decarburization during heat treatment of components. A fortune in capital investments can be saved as existing furnace can be used for scale free heat treatment. This is otherwise possible only by use of highly capital intensive controlled atmosphere furnace. After heat treatment, unproductive process of shot blasting, machining, grinding can be either substantially reduced or eliminated.
