Liquor Bismuth Ammonium Citrate is ammoniocitrate of bismuth; an intestinal astringent. Belladonna (or deadly night shade) as anticholinergic properties. Anticholinergics are used in the treatment of such things as stomach cramps (like those associated with irritable bowel syndrome) and incontinence (urinary leakage) in that is relaxes the smooth muscle of the bowels and bladder. Thymol is a phenolic compound with antiseptic and antibacterial property. Menthol gives a sensation of coolness.
