Mode of Action

The microbial population (PSB and others) and its activity i.e. organic acid secretion contribute the changes of potassium mobility from the soil towards plant roots. Rate of non-exchangeable K release and its mechanism are controlled by nature and amount of clay minerals, besides this exploring the role of microbes present in the soil. Potash Mobilizing Bacteria (KMB) could be applied individually however it is recommended along with nitrogen fixing bacteria like Rhizobium spp., Azosprillum sp and with P-solubilizers.

Target Crops:

Method of application and dosage for Powder / Granule Formulation

• Soil Application – Take 2kg ANNEO-K mix in 50 kg well decomposed FYM / compost. Blend the mixture and broadcast it over 1 acre land in the standing crop and irrigate the field. In case of Horticulture crops, it should be applied in the effective root zone.

Application Quantity Per Acre

Seed treatment : 10 gm or 10 ml/kg of seeds

Seedling treatment : 100 gm or 100ml in 10 litres of water

Soil application : 5 kg or 1 lit/acre in 500 kg with organic fertilizer. Applied before planting and at mid stage of plants.

Drip irrigation : 5 gm or 5ml per litre of water or 5 kg or 1 lit in 500 litres of water/acre
