Amoxicillin Trihydrate eq. to Amoxicillin - 1250 mg.
Sulbactam Sodium eq. to Sulbactam – 250 mg.
Lactic Acid Bacillus- 60 million spores
Description –
Amoxicillin trihydrate is a broad-spectrum semi synthetic antibiotic and that its resistance to gastric acid permits higher serum levels with oral administration.
Sulbactam Sodium is a beta-lactamase inhibitor with very weak antibacterial action. The compound prevents antibiotic destruction of beta-lactam antibiotics by inhibiting beta-lactamases, thus extending their spectrum activity.
Lactic Acid Bacillus- A nonspecific term for lactobacilli, which are gram-positive; aerobic and facultatively anaerobic; have terminal spores; and produce lactic acid from fermentable sugars.
Indications & Usage –
- Effective combination to combat stubborn bacteria.
- Highly potent bactericidal antibiotic and kills 99% of pathogenic bacteria.
- Broad spectrum activity against gm+ve , gm-ve.
- Bolus shows higher penetration and spread in mastitis udder.
- Lactic acid bacillus kills pathogenic microbes and also inhibit the multiplication and increase friendly micro flora in rumen.
Withdrawal Period - Milk – 7 days & Meat – 28 days
Presentation – 1 Strip of 2 Bolus
