Amikacin 500mg injection is a potent antibiotic belonging to the aminoglycoside class, It is used to treat severe bacterial infections, particularly those caused by susceptible strains of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Amikacin injection works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, thereby stopping the infection from spreading. Amikacin works by killing bacteria or putting a stop to their growth.
