Completely manual version, the head is raised or lowered manually and secured using a knob. sturdy cast iron base, with levelling legs at the bottom to adjust. supplied with one 50gms and 100 gms each weights with standard 47.5g plunger assembly.

Application Used for penetration tests on petroleum products and for consistency tests on a wide range of food products, cosmetics, pastes, destempers and other solid to semi-solid products.
consists of a dial scale 0-40.0mm with 1⁄10mm sub divisions. (0-400 penetration scale). suits cones and needles to perform all the astm tests on lubricating greases, asphalts, petroleum waxes.
compact design facilitates transport for field use. geared dial and plunger movement for accurate placement of the tip of the needle or cone on the surface of the sample.
