Thrutek Applied Materials was founded in 2007 and is a dedicated Aluminum Nitride powder manufacturer based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Thrutek has been spearheading the research of AlN powders in Taiwan for more than 10 years. Today Thrutek boasts one of the most comprehensive AlN Powder product portfolios in the world. All Thrutek AlN products are 100% made in Taiwan, through proprietary facilities and processes that allow for a continuous tonnage capacity.
Currently, like 5G application, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), if asking for 10W/m-K by thermal pad or 8W/m-K by thermal glue together with highly electric insulation, so far, it seems only AlN powder as thermal filler can reach and even mostly filled with spherical type of AlN Powder.
Our surface-coated spherical AIN powders offer excellent compability between the AlN particles and resins. We also offer water resistant grades in our spherical AlN powder lineup.
The new 130um spherical AlN powder grade has the largest particle size in our product lineup.

Without water-resistance treatment
RF series is high purity spherical AlN powder grade that is not surface coated or treated for water resistance. RF series is recommended when purest spherical AlN powder is required.
RFE series is spherical AlN grade that is surface coated to improve bonding and compatibility with epoxy resins.
RFS series is spherical AlN grade that is surface coated to improve bonding and compatibility with silicone resins.
