• Extrusions should be as per ISI 63400
• Fabrication is to be carried out generally as per ISI
• The section design should be of sufficient strength to suit the size of units to be made and capable of withstanding Wind Pressure as well as the dead load
• Tubular Hollow Body is preferable at least for Shutter Frame
• Joints to be metered with Mechanical Joints using Angle Connector cut from extruded section
• Frame should be square without any bend, vertically or horizontally
• Sections should have slots to receive weather-strip for air and water tightness
• Sections to have inbuilt Grooves in which Glass Clip and be snap fitted
• Glass Gaskets should be of EPDM
• Anodizing should be as per ISI 1868 of 1982
• Finished surface of Frames should be protected with self – adhesive peel of tape
• Weatherproofing: Frames should be provided with double weather – strip to reduce water and air leakage. Necessary Weather Bar to provide on top of window to avoid penetration of water
