Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera plant is one of the most common houseplants grown as it is easy to grow with many medicinal uses. Aloe vera is a stainless plant grown by offsets and have thick and fleshy green-grey leaves.

The leaves have serrated margins with small white teeth. It produces yellow color flowers growing on a spike.The aloe leaves are commercially used in cosmetics and medicines. It is found to have soothing, moisturizing and healing properties.

Soil: It requires well-drained soil containing cactus potting mix

Light: It does well in full sun as well as in partial shade/ indoors

Propagation: It is propagated by detaching the younger clone plants from already grown adult plants

Temperature: They do well at warmer temperatures and may suffer harm at lower temperatures

Water: It requires very less water to grow. Water only when the soil is completely dry.

Humidity: moderate – higher humidity conditions
