Air Shower

Air Shower, self contained factory assembled system in S.S. 304 CONSTRUCTION designed to deliver a spray of moving air at approximately 6000 ft. per minute, from adjustable nozzles in the ceiling and opposing walls.

The system is equipped with stainless steel grated floor located approximately 6" above datum level. Duct air chases are installed within the walls of the unit. Air passes through a bank of pre-filters and a second bank of HEPA filters mounted on top or one side of the unit.

The air shower is provided with a specially designed solid state sequential control system, rendering the operation fully automatic. The electromagnetic door interlocking arrangement permits opening of only one door at a time. During 30 seconds while the air shower is in operation, neither entrance nor exit door can be opened. In the event of power failure, however, the doors can be opened manually. A lock switch for overriding the electronic control system ensuring manual operation is also provided. The illumination level inside will be 100 ft. candles.
