Air Ring

Air ring is made of hardened hchc steel; precision ground to provide designed clearance between the shaft and the jets. The backpressure is generated when the component is inserted into the ring and this backpressure correspondingly is read as the comparative size of the part. Air rings are supplied from 4 mm to 160 mm as per the requirement for measuring a through or a shouldered shaft. Two jets rings to measure size, taper and ovality or with three jets to measure size, taper and lobing. Special air rings for checking multiple diameters and multiple lobing or taper etc. Can be provided.
