A second duck-work also called “ return ducts “ because it helps to collect warm exhaust air and transfer it back to the air handler. When warm air reaches the air handling unit, the refrigerant collect the heat from the air and send it to an outdoor compressor. The heat is expelled to the outside. and refrigerant is send back to the air handler to cool more air and repeat the cooling cycle. And this process is reverse during the winter to heat the air in home. An air handler is installed either on rooftop on in an indoor mechanical room.
