pto drive shafts used in agricultural applications comprise of 2 cardan joints, which are connected through telescopic shafts.
these shafts are specially designed with 3 lobe profile tubes, forged yokes, cross and torque limiter (making it suitable for rugged indian agricultural applications).

there are 3 variations of the basic pto shaft – models t, v & cvj – out of which the model t is the most popular and ideal one for our country.
The most popular model for the rotavators being the t60 with a push pin yoke and a pushpin +shear pin torque limiter yoke on either sides. t 60 with longer centres is used for post hole diggers and t 80 for heavy duty applications.
the wide range covers models from 12 kw at 540 rpm to 120 kw at 540 rpm.
