| Add water slowly to the distemper paste, mixing the contents thoroughly. Continue thinning to application consistency. The normal mixing ratio is 2 parts of water to 3 parts of by volume for the 1st coat. For the 2nd coat the mixing ratio should be 1:1 by volume. Dry overnight between coats.
