Acetylcysteine Tablets

Acetylcysteine Tablets is a medication used for clearing the mucus from lungs so as to provide proper breathing. Acetylcysteine Tablets are also used for preventing liver damage from acetaminophen overdose. Acetylcysteine Tablets that we offer are hygienically prepared and should be taken under the consultation of a physician.

Indications :

• Adjuvant therapy with abnormal and viscous mucus secretions in :
• Chronic Bronchopulmonary Diseases like : Chronic emphysema, Emphysema with Bronchitis, Chronic asthmatic Bronchitis, Tuberculosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary Amyloidosis of Lungs.
• Acute Bronchopulmonary Diseases like: Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Tracheo-bronchitis Pulmonary complications of Cystic fibrosis & those associated with surgery.
• Post tracheostomy care.
• During Anaesthesia.
• Pos traumatic chest conditions.
• Atelactasis due to mucus obstruction.
• Overdosage of acetaminophen.

Dosage :
Usual adult and adolescent dose :
As Mucolytic :

• Adult Dose : 600mg OD
• Pediatric Dose : 200mg OD
• Prevention of Acute Renal failure associated with radiographic contrast media : 600mg BID.
• Renally Impaired Patients : Caution is necessary.

Packing : 10 Strips of 4 Tablets.
