ASC sensors are used, for example, in crash tests in road vehicle development, to monitor safety and wear and tear in rail vehicles, to monitor the stability of wind turbines or to measure the swaying of container ships.

Accelerometers

ASC products are characterised by their robustness and shockproof qualities and their high heat resistance. There are two product groups of accelerometers:

Capacitative accelerometers work with a reinforced output signal, so even very small measuring ranges are possible.

Capacitative accelerometers, uniaxial
Capacitative accelerometers, triaxial

In addition, piezoresistive sensors are produced which do not have a reinforced signal, instead they have a bridge output signal and are mainly used in crash tests.
