Contact SupplierThe white acacia tree is very rich in nectar for the bees. The trees are abundant in the forests of Kashmir. The nectar productivity of this plant is tremendous, and it can go up to 1000 kgs per hectare. Its clusters are usually full of nectar, their wonderful tender smell making the surroundings fragrant for about two weeks during its flowering season, in spring. During this period strong colonies of bees gather nectar from far away places and produce this white Acacia Honey.
This honey is also called Eye Honey, for its use in treating the eye infection. This real bee Honey, Acacia Honey, can be applied topically twice a day to the lower conjunctiva (the membrane that covers the front of eye and lines the eyelids from inside) and is very effective in treating the eye infection.
