Contact SupplierThis pelletizer is designed in particular to produce small quantity of dry ice pellets with an high density from the liquid CO2 at a very low temperature. In order to produce the snow you need a regular supply of Liquid CO2 from storage tank which is fed at a very low pressure. The snow is then compressed through an extrusion plate from an interactive single horizontal piston, mechanically lead. The pelletizer produces dry ice pellets of high quality. The production of dry ice pellets occurs during transformation of 'liquid carbon dioxide’ to solid.
This fully automated system is ideal for producing large quantities of dry ice pellets of ± 300 kg / h. The return gas transferred from the pelletizer can be recovered and reliquified for processing. The mechanical system can easily be adapted to produce dry ice of different diameters by using interchangeable dies.
To obtain optimal performance it is strongly recommended that the ‘liquid CO2 must be completely dry, i.e. without moisture’. Capacities of pelletizers range from 50-300kg/hr.
