‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ an anti-slavery novel was described by an American author Harriet Beecher Stowe. The novel got published in two subsequent volumes in 1852, it left a profound effect on the attitude of people towards African Americans and Slavery in the US.
The author’s motive behind writing this sentimental novel was to depict the harsh truth of slavery and also to assert that Christan love can overcome slavery.
