NYLON Monofilament Expandable Sleeving is commonly used in the automotive industry to protect wires and hoses from excessive Wear. Vibration and Abrasion can tear automotive hoses to pieces, but Nylon can increase hose life up to 300%. This lengthened lifespan is recognized in terms of reduced maintenance and downtime leading to greater customer satisfaction.

NYLON Monofilament Expandable Sleeving is braided from 0.012″ Nylon 6-6 polyamide monofilament. The tight braid construction fully covers and provides excellent surface abrasion resistance for assemblies exposed to excessive wear. The smooth Nylon fibers and tight construction also reduces abrasion damage caused by hoses and harnesses rubbing against the inside wall of the sleeving.

Open weave construction allows expansion above or below original diameter.
