The regular clean grade licorice roots belong to the Glycyrrhiza glabra species. This grade of root, which carries a high glycyrrhizin, and glabredin content, is one side manually cut after manual cleaning at source. This is sourced from Afghanistan and is unprocessed. The root grade has yellow tips and brown bark and is of outstanding quality. It is natural, grown in the wild, and is used as a flavoring ingredient, to form extract, and in the cosmetic industry.
