Iph Heat Strengthened glass is approximately 2 to 3 times stronger the annealed glass of the same thickness. It is made from annealed glass and process is similar to tempered glass When the glass is broken, it does not break into small fragments alike tempered so its not safe for glazing application. Tempered glass is used for various applications where high optical illusion is required and for general glazing.
