Typical Applications
Silica Extender due to the particle shape, the large particle size and low oil absorption are very helpful in manufacture of wood filler, it is most suitable to fill the pores in open grain woods. Silica extenders are most inert to acids and alkalies, which makes it useful in coatings to give toughness and abrasion resistance.

• Due to excellent wearing resistance, it is used in Traffic Paint for Making Roadway.
• Ultrafine (UF) grade is also widely used in Exterior Paint.
• It is the basic raw material used in manufacture of glass.
• RF grade is used in construction chemical, buffing compound.
