High Shear Mixers have tip speeds ranging from 10 to 50 m/s and have a very high shear rate ranging from 20,000 to 100,000 s-1. For these specifications, High Shear Mixers are suitable for dispersing solids into liquids, emulsifying immiscible liquids, combining individual products into their proper ratios and dispersion, and breaking down solids and agglomerates.
