12V Frying Pan

This gadget can be used for heating / frying / cooking food using a 12V car / inverter battery.

Remember the electric heater which is used to make tea / cook food using 220V AC electricity…this is something similar, except that it uses 12V DC battery power…so no danger of electric shock…here the heating element & cooking vessel have been joined into one so the vessel cannot be dipped in water for cleaning…also while the 220V electric heater uses some 1000W of power this gadget uses 135W of power…also cooking vessel depth is lower than expected…may be just enough for few cups of tea / coffee or boil a packet of Maggi or fry an omellete…the sadest part is it is expensive at Rs 6,499…it should have been at Rs 649 for the poor Indian market…also some car 12V cigarrete lighter sockets may not be able to support as it draws 13 Amperes so sepeate wiring may be needed…also the car / truck engine will need to be kept ON else it will drain the battery quickly…Another use could be with the big 12V, 150 Ah battery…lets us suppose there is power failure & LPG supply not available then u can cook using a 12V battery…with a 100W solar panel (Rs 6,000-Rs 7,000), a 12V 10A charge controller ( Rs 800) and a 12V 100 Ah battery (Rs 5,000)…total Rs 13,000 this could be used for cooking for 7-8 hours…could also be used to boil eggs, bacon, hamburgers or heat packaged foods…
