In this process of desalination, CO2 is used for making the processed water drinkable. CO2 is generated onsite in order to ensure food grade and reliable supply of CO2 for the re-mineralization process making the distillate suitable for drinking water.

For very small desalination plants where onsite CO2 generation is not viable/ desirable and CO2 of good quality is available freely in tanks or cylinders, ‘SSGLA tank systems’ with vaporizer and dosing system controls or ‘SSGLA Manifold system’ with freeze reduction station and dosing control can be provided.
