Resistive(Pressure Sensitive) Interactive Whiteboards are made with a resilient front sheet and a hard backboard. The back of the front sheet and the front of the backboard are coated with a resistive material. Under normal condition, the resistive sides of each are separated by a tiny air gap. When contact is made to the surface of the front sheet, the gap is closed, registering the precise location of the touch.
