It was developed for enhanced creep resistance and for higher strength at temperatures above 1000 Degree F (537 Degree C). SS 321H EFW Tubes (DIN 1.4878) is a general purpose austenitic stainless steel that is stabilized against carbide precipitation and designed to work within the carbide precipitation temperature range 427 to 816°C (800 to 1500 Degree F). Stainless Steel 321H Seamless Pipes can be used in most diluted organic acids at moderate temperatures and in pure phosphoric acid at lower temperatures and up to 10 percent diluted solutions at elevated temperatures.
