    This is a7-pin Monochrome OLED Display that has a screen size of 0.96 inches which can communicate with both I2C and SPI protocol. It popularly used in Consumer electronics, smartwatches, and small gaming devices because of its wide viewing angle and pixel density. It also supports bitmap images and hence along with characters and numbers the display can also support graphics and small motion images. You can also check the 4-pin OLED Display that works only with I2C Interface.
    The driver IC in this OLED display is the SSD1306 hence the display itself is sometimes referred by this name. The display can operate both in 3.3V and 5V logic signals and hence can be easily interfaced with many microcontrollers. It also has a well-supported Arduino library to make development fast and easy.
