Proximity Probe Transducers

The PPT-080 and PPT-110 Proximity Probe Transmitters are used for non-contact measurements of shaft vibration measurements. Each system consists of a probe, extension cable, and a driver. Air Gap Transducer

  • Feature Excellent accuracy , Temperature compensated
The transducer system consists of an AGS-212 sen-sor with integral flexible triaxial cable (1.5m) termi-nated by a small 5mm coaxial connector. The triaxial cable is protected on its entire length by a flexible polyamide conduit plugged to an adapter module terminated by integral three core shielded cable (length eight (8) meters) with a four (4) pole connect-or. A flexible metallic conduit protects the transmis-sion cable on its entire length. A four (4) pole con-nector allows the connection to an AGC-212 condi-tioning unit providing the high frequency signal gen-eration for the sensor, signal processing and lineari-zation.

Magnetic Field Transducer

The very thin sensors head design allows mounting in the air gap of generators and electrical motors. A novel sensor chip in the probe entirely eliminates influences from DC magnetic field components other than the one measured (Y-axis), so that even for strong nonuniform fields no planar Hall effect leads to errors in the output voltage. The transducer consists of a sensors head with integral flexible cable of 10 meters connected to a conditioning unit.
