A check valve or non-return valve which normally allows to flow through it in only one direction.
Check valves are two-port valves, means they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave. There are various types of check valves used in a wide variety of applications. Although they are available in a wide range of sizes and costs, Check valves work automatically and most are not controlled An important concept in check valves is the cracking pressure which is the minimum upstream pressure at which the valve will operate.
A swing check valve or tilting disc check valve is check valve in which the disc, the movable part to block the flow, swings on a hinge or trunnion, either onto the seat to block reverse flow or off the seat to allow forward flow
The body is designed for strength to meet operating conditions, and contoured to minimize erosion and resistance to flow. The disc is opened and sustained in open position by the Velocity pressure of the fluid and closed by the force of gravity. Seating load and resultant tightness is aided by back pressure in the line. The body seat-ring is seal-welded to the body avoiding leakage in the path between the seat ring and the body. The seating surfaces are ground and lapped.

Pressure Valves Globe Valves are O.S. & Y Type i.e. Outside screw & yoke, Bolted bonnet, & Rising stem. Globe valves are used where throttling and both throttling and shut-off is required. They can also be used for on-off service, but because of high pressure drop, this is generally confined to applications where the valve is normally closed and drop is not important when the valve is open. Normally globe valves are installed with flow under the disc, but under certain conditions flow over the disc may have the advantages.
Pressure Valves can also supply Angle Valves, Y Type Globe Valves and Globe Valves as S.D.NR (screw-down non-return) which in effect converts it into two valves stop valve when closed or a check valve when open.

ranging from the smallest to the largest size Gate Valve name is derived from the operation of the Gate valve. The Valve Acts like a Gate to stop or allow the flow through the valve. The valve can be opened by lifting the wedge out of the path of the flow Gate valves are actually designed for closing & opening full , so they are not suitable for the Throttling purpose. When the Gate valve is fully
open, there is no Obstruction in the Flow path, resulting in very low pressure drop, & they are often suitable for the Hot Tapping & Pigging.

A Butterfly Valve is a Valve used for flow regulation in which the closing members takes the form of disc
AWWA Butterfly Valves meet the requirement of AWWA C504 Standard. Corrosion resistant Shaft Stainless Steel disc edge and are futures on all valves. These valve are suitable for flows in either direction and seal in both directions. The valves can be used for both tight shut off as well as for regulating purpose. Only a quarter-turn is required to fully open or close the valve.

Pressure Valves Dual Disc Check Valves are designed and manufactured as per API 594 and is supplied in an extensive range sealing like Metal to Metal, Soft, completely lined Valves with diverse lining material like Rubber of different variety, PTFE/PFE etc.
Dual Disc design makes it certain that the pressure drop is minimized across the Valve. Spring loaded Disc guarantees the mounting of the Valve in horizontal or vertical directions. Very minimum Space is needed for installing this Valve as compared to Swing Check Valves in addition to its low weight and economical in price.
Pressure Valves Dual Disc Check Valves are offered in different material like Cast Iron, S.G. Iron, Cast Carbon Steel, and Cast Stainless Steel of all Grades, High Alloy Steels like Alloy-20, CD4MCu, Duplex & Super Duplex Steels and Hastelloy etc. The Size ranges from 50NB to 900NB and Pressure Ratings range from ASME 150# to 600#.
Separate springs are provided for each door to close. This reduces and overcomes the frictional coefficient due to one plate resting upon another. The spring life cycle is studied and the dynamic behaviour of the valve is recorded. This type of valve prevents flow reversal, functions silently and totally prevents Water Hammer. Its generally light weight, and can be mounted in any direction (Horizontal/Vertical). Also, it has a high CV value and less pressure drop. Its designed for non-slamming action that prevents premature valve failure, and the valve functions silently for longer duration.
