Mr. Ankit Gupta, Vice President of ExportersIndia.Com, shares bracket with some of the leading business heads. He has gained deep insights in the SME and MSME sector and works closely with the same. He recently shared his views on what these industries expected from the 2019 elections.

Mr. Ankit Gupta contributed his views on the expectations of MSMEs and SMEs from this year’s elections. He shared the same for the prestigious platform Entrepreneur in an article titled, ‘What Do MSMEs Expect from General Elections 2019?’ The article threw light on the 63.05 million micro industries, 0.33 million small, and around 5,000 medium enterprises that are currently operating in India. These two sectors still have high hopes from the election results and want the government to implement new policies for promoting the ease of doing business and simplifying the credit availability. As SME and MSMEs were the worst hit sectors because of the two reformative moves- demonetization and GST implementation.

Mr. Ankit Gupta shared, “Right from the search for the perfect match to your requirements, the queries, the transactions and the entire business is now being conducted with absolute ease through online platforms. The credit availability had been a problem as RBI’s decision to permit a one-time restructuring of MSME loans that have defaulted but are not non-performing as on 1 January, has received a positive response from the small business owners.”
